During our 2014 visit to Florida we decided to make the trip out to the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art which is not only home to what was their winter residency on the grounds – which we should have some more of in the coming weeks, but a circus museum displaying much of the equipment and costuming from Ringling Brothers‘ shows performed over the years.

For the kids they’ve included an interactive exhibit that lets you take on various circus roles like an acrobat. Unfortunately despite having some previous experience with, thanks to a play she was in, it’s clear there’s no future for Nicole on the highwire (Video below runs just under thirty seconds).
